April Showers

Brings lots of snow and rain in Nebraska. This has been an interesting weather month so far. Currently as I type it is raining pretty hard. We had snow flurries last week and the week before hail. Enough where most people's roofs need repair. We still have to get ours looked at.

Roman started music class on Saturday mornings at Baby Maestro. Lilly goes too and they have a good time playing instruments, listening to music and dancing. The class goes for 10 weeks.

Bronson is just his three year old self. He is so lovey and sweet but challenges us quite a bit. Bedtime is a blast and sharing is my favorite part of parenting. : ) He gets so excited about the littlest things. He loves to go to HyVee for the free kids cookie. He just made a pile of toys and told me "welcome to my mountain of toys."

We have our work convention this coming week and it always is a good time. When you work hard you play hard! Will post pics. Take care. Monica

Last day of March

Good evening! Well today is the last day of month, Easter and our anniversary. We have had a great day with the boys. They were excited that the Easter bunny came and got plenty of goodies. We went to the park and for a little drive to pass some time. We ended the trip with slushies. Yesterday the weather was gorgeous and the boys even played in their water table. We hope to have more of those days soon.

My friend Chrissy came into town for 4 days with her son Eddie, and we did so much while they were here. Always good times and lots of drinks to support our nights. We went to the Zoo, drove to IA to see my mom, dyed Easter eggs, went to a paint class, saw the movie The Croods, caught a couple CU games and so much more. We always pick up where we left off. They were wonderful company.

Andy went Mexico and as always one of the boys came down with something. Roman had a respiratory infection and was a bit under the weather a few days. There are no other trips planned for April as we have our work convention coming to town. It will be a busy month. Andy got me a major shopping spree for our anniversary so I will have a new wardrobe soon. I am very fortunate to have the best husband and boys in my life. We are one fourth done with the year and I hope you have a great start to Spring!

Mid March

Hi friends and fam! We hope you are having a great month so far. I am sure you are aware that Andy and I have two favorite days this month... St. Pat's and our Anniversary! As you can see in some pics, Uncle Randy came to visit last weekend. His trip was cut a little short because of a snow storm that popped up. We had a good time visiting and the boys liked doing the E.T. finger to him. Everyone is doing well, with the exception of Andy. He has a slight neck injury that he is nursing. Hope he feels better soon. Roman is loving Elmo, Toy Story and starting to chit chat with us more. Bronson is such a good boy. He is getting a little scared around bedtime. He wants to go potty again, have a bowl of pretzels, listen to music, find every stuffed animal he knows, or snuggle. That's my favorite...I love three year olds! Have a great rest of your week. Here are a few snaps of ours. The last photo is Roman wearing Andy's neck collar. Goofy lil dude.
Xoxo Take care.

Early March

We are just excited to be in the month that Spring will officially be here! Also, Easter falls on our 6 year wedding anniversary! Looking forward to doing more things outside soon. The boys are getting over colds but still spunky as ever. Here are some pics over the last weekend. Never a dull moment (except when Roman is sleeping).

February Days

It's funny because February is the shortest month of the year but sometimes feels the longest. Andy has traveled to London and Las Vegas these last few weeks giving me much alone time with the boys. We do pretty well when he is out if town. I usually drop a few lbs because I eat cereal for dinner or smaller portions. We do miss him. Bronson is really aware when he is gone and we look at maps or listen to the voice recorded book to help at night. Roman is starting to potty train--haha you might laugh, like I did the first few times. I figured he was way excited or what a fluke, but he has been going multiple days and at least 4-8 times a day. He even went at Aunt Katie's house. He really looks up to his big brother. Maybe we can be out of diapers in the next several months. Here are a few snaps of the month. Hope you all had a great Valentines Day. Andy's birthday is right around the corner. Monica XoXo

January Times

The boys experienced a lot during the first month of the year. Bronson went to one of his first birthday parties at Bounce U and Roman got his first haircut. Lots of firsts for the boys and they continue to keep us laughing everyday. Little Roman loves making silly faces and Bronson talks a mile minute. Andy and I have been working on making our basement liveable and giving ourselves more room with two growing boys. We got a 3D TV and a nice comfy couch. It is a long way from beer pong days! Andy is a Craigslist master and can sell any pong tables or furniture. We hope that January was a good month for everyone! Take care! Monica
