Last days of August!

Turns out Summer decided to wait until the last week of August. It has been a Hot week and in addition Andy is in China. He has been 13 hours ahead of us and working hard.  Grandma LoLo (or Nana-now according to Roman) came over for a few days. She spoiled us by taking us to eat and to Target. The boys are adjusting to their new routine with Bronson going to Montessori pre-school. He is two weeks in and things are going pretty well. We have a parent/teacher meeting next week, so I am anxious to hear how the teachers perceive his time there. He has made some friends and seems to like his teachers. I used to work with one of the staff and that makes me reassured. Tomorrow begins the long months of football. I am sure this Fall season will be bring lots of fun times and we are looking forward to it. Xoxo.

Virginia Trip

We had a good time in Northern Virginia on our vacation. It was great to see some family and friends. It always goes a little fast but we were able to swim, eat, drink, go to DINOSAURLAND, Cocotin Zoo, Gettysberg, Roy Rogers twice, get a pedicure and lots more! My dad took me down to see my grandmother who turned 94 on the 10th. It was nice to see her community and know she is well taken care of. The weather was a bit different then normal-cooler and not as humid. We can't believe the summer is almost over. Until next time!!!

West Des Moines in May

We sure had a good time visiting Grandma LoLo and Grandpa Jim over in WDM this last weekend. Aunt Kim, Uncle Mike and cousin Lilly made it over too. We had fun being together, eating, drinking, playing outside, doing puzzles with missing pieces, watching Baby Einstein, seeing Cousin Ben and his girlfriend, the big kids going to Zombie Burger, playing roll the ball on the pool table and going for a golf cart ride. Hope that we can make it over again soon!!

Cinco de Mayo

Hi amigos! Hope you are all having a wonderful May. The first day of the month brought snow for us. It was the saddest thing to see but it is looking like 70s this week. We had our work convention last weekend and Grandma Lolo was with the boys. They had at great time a music class, HyVee and McDonalds. Not to mention all of the Toy Story, games, puzzles, books, playtime that they had! Roman has had a few colds and I did too. I hope that we are on our way to being tissue free. I better go so Andy and I can eat our chips and salsa! Monica
